Broaching the hugely valuable enterprise market can be very intimidating for young startups. Large enterprises can be reluctant to work with smaller companies due to concerns about scalability and support. Sun Microsystems realized there is an opportunity here - Sun can supply a uniquely scalable cloud infrastructure that meets enterprise demand for support and reliability at a price-point that won't break the bank for startups. Sun Microsystems' panel at Cloud Computing Conference & Expo 2009 East discussed how the cloud is valuable, not just to startups and developers, but also to the traditional enterprise market.
