Cloud Worth $45.5b in ‘15

The cloud computing services market should be worth $45.5 billion in revenues by 2015

The cloud computing services market should be worth $45.5 billion in revenues by 2015, according to Telecom Trends International.

It says “Cloud computing will have a significant but not extraordinary growth over the next seven years. The growth will be tempered by the current hesitation of the user community to embrace the technology.”

There’s concern over the cloud’s reliability and proprietary protocols and many service providers may find survival challenging because of the highly competitive environment.

Mid-term, growth will center on the emerging markets.
