Evernote and MobiTech 3000 Partner to Provide Scanning Solution for iPhone

Customers Can Save and Search Documents Created With JotNot

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- MobiTech 3000 LLC today announced integration of their flagship product, JotNot, with Evernote's online note taking service. JotNot is a document scanning application that allows customers to use the iPhone's camera to capture and "scan" documents. JotNot processes pictures of documents, receipts, whiteboards, blackboards, and handwritten notes, making them easier to read, print, and share with others. JotNot's advanced image processing corrects keystoning and improves legibility. JotNot can export processed images as PDFs, PNGs, or JPEGs.

"Integrating directly with Evernote provides award winning OCR technology to our users and saves them time by making JotNot fit seamlessly into their existing workflows," said Abe Gurjal, co-founder of MobiTech 3000 LLC.

With this integration, JotNot users will get the full benefit of Evernote's character and handwriting recognition applied to their scanned images. Images processed with JotNot and pushed to Evernote are stored and indexed on the Evernote website, where the information they contain can be searched and retrieved.

"The JotNot Evernote integration is just plain cool," said Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote. "They've done a great job using our API to develop an elegant application that perfectly complements Evernote. Now you can spend less time worrying about your camera angles and more time remembering stuff."

JotNot is available for sale on iTunes(TM) for $4.99.

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. This is often especially true in financial services, where the legacy environment is many times unable to keep up with the rapidly shifting demands of the consumer. The constant pressure to provide complete, omnichannel delivery of customer-facing solutions to meet both regulatory and customer demands is putting enormous pressure on...
IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through. Unfortunately, this inevitably makes IoT less approachable for people to get started with and can hamper efforts to integrate this key technology into your own portfolio. There are so many connected products already in place today with many hundreds more on the h...
The standardization of container runtimes and images has sparked the creation of an almost overwhelming number of new open source projects that build on and otherwise work with these specifications. Of course, there's Kubernetes, which orchestrates and manages collections of containers. It was one of the first and best-known examples of projects that make containers truly useful for production use. However, more recently, the container ecosystem has truly exploded. A service mesh like Istio addr...
