PepperBall Technologies Introduces New Consumer Pepper Spray Gun and Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

New Pocket-Sized Pepper Powder Gun Available to the Public

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- With the mark of its 10-year anniversary, PepperBall Technologies Incorporated (PTI) has taken its first venture into the consumer market with the introduction of the HotShot - a pocket-sized personal protection device. PTI has a long history of producing non-lethal weapons for military, government, corrections, and major agencies, but the HotShot is the company's first product available to the public.

The HotShot is a lightweight, portable, and compact weapon that instantly bursts a large, visible cloud of powder irritate (up to 12 feet), which works immediately and overwhelmingly. It is unlike other pepper-based spray products that can take several minutes to properly administer and require accurate aiming. The HotShot is also hotter and more effective than pepper spray with its super hot capsaicin II pepper powder. Weighing only 3.4 ounces, the HotShot can easily be concealed and placed in a pocket, purse or backpack, making it ideal for college students and females when safety is threatened.

Since PTI's inception in 1999, the company has shown very steady growth and consequently felt there was a need and opportunity to create a personal protection product. According to PTI COO, Conrad Sun, "We have always done well in the institutional markets, but with petty crime on the rise around the country, we felt there was a real need for a consumer product that was easy to use, effective, and affordable, so we created HotShot." The HotShot is the next generation of personal protection products.

PTI has a full line of system launchers and projectiles for a variety of less-lethal applications. With over 15 million projectiles and 16,500 launchers sold since its inception, PTI personal defense systems have been proven to be highly effective and safe with no reported serious injuries. PTI supplies thousands of users and major agencies including the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the United States Border Patrol, police and sheriff departments, as well as private entities, security services and bail enforcement agencies around the world. For more information about PepperBall Technologies or how to purchase the HotShot, available as part of an introductory offer of $49.99, call 1-877-887-3773 or visit www.HotShotDefense.com.

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. This is often especially true in financial services, where the legacy environment is many times unable to keep up with the rapidly shifting demands of the consumer. IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through. Unfortunately, this inevitably makes IoT less approachable for people to get started with and can hamper efforts to integrate this key technology into your own portfolio. There are so many connected products already in place today with many hundreds more on the h...
The standardization of container runtimes and images has sparked the creation of an almost overwhelming number of new open source projects that build on and otherwise work with these specifications. Of course, there's Kubernetes, which orchestrates and manages collections of containers. It was one of the first and best-known examples of projects that make containers truly useful for production use. However, more recently, the container ecosystem has truly exploded. A service mesh like Istio addr...

To Really Work for Enterprises, MultiCloud Adoption Requires Far Better and Inclusive Cloud Monitoring and Cost Management … But How?
