TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Nextest Systems Corporation, a leader in the manufacture of automatic test equipment (ATE) for cost-sensitive semiconductors, announced that it will showcase a range of test solutions at the 2005 Semicon/Taiwan Exposition. The company will demonstrate its cost- effective engineering desktop solution, the Magnum EV, and its low-cost, highly-efficient Lightning test system. Nextest will exhibit these products in Booth number 302, Hall 1, from September 12-14 at the trade show, which is being held in Taipei, Taiwan.
About Magnum EV
The Magnum EV is an affordable engineering desktop test system. This system allows engineers to run and correlate test programs on their desktop without having to take down an expensive production system - saving both time and money. The Magnum EV provides users with 128 pins, 132Mhz data rates, full memory APG and error catch, topped off by 4 million random logic vectors - all controlled by a 3.4 Ghz Pentium 4 PC!
About Lightning SST
Lightning is designed to address the test requirements of cost-sensitive devices found in today's pervasive consumer digital appliances. Lightning delivers the required resources to test system-on-a-chip (SOC) and system-in- a-package (SIP) technologies, and provides logic, memory and analog test capability at a very low cost of test. Lightning achieves this cost reduction by providing IC manufacturers with the capabilities of larger, more expensive analog testers onto one single PC board. This single-board approach to dynamic analog test not only keeps the costs low, but also allows users to configure their Lightning with multiple copies of the board in support of massively parallel test approaches. In addition, Lightning is designed to be fully re- configurable, so that increased functionality can be added as needed.
About Nextest Systems Corporation
Nextest Systems Corporation is a low-cost leader in the design and manufacturing of ATE for non-volatile memory, micro-controllers, ASIC and System-On-a-Chip (SOC) semiconductors. Nextest's products address the growing demand from manufacturers for testing equipment with increased speed, reliability, functionality and capacity, while reducing the time to market and cost of test. Nextest has shipped over 1500 systems worldwide. Further information is available at http://www.nextest.com/.
