Virtual Ark Session at Cloud Expo
Outsourcing is entering its third generation, according to Cloud Expo speaker Marty Gauvin, who is Founder, President and CEO of Virtual Ark.
"Third-generation outsourcing is here!," he says in his abstract for the session of the same name. "Its first generation was 'your mess for less,' and the second generation involved strategic or selective sourcing, including hosting."

Now, Gauvin says, "Third-generation outsourcing, as a result of the emergence of Cloud Computing, stands to materially revolutionize and challenge traditional outsourcing models like no previous models have.
The Cloud also delivers an opportunity for the wider adoption of existing enterprise applications in a SaaS model." He says that his general session at Cloud Expo will "challenge your traditional views of outsourcing, cloud security, SaaS and adoption of public cloud services by Fortune 1000 companies globally."
