The companies have collaborated on the development, test and validation of a reference architecture that will help enable enterprise customers take full advantage of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) benefits available in the Savvis Symphony VPDC offering (formerly dubbed Project Spirit). Savvis Symphony VPDC is a multi-tenant, public cloud infrastructure providing complete Virtual Private Data Centers with multi-tiered security and Quality of Service (QoS) levels.

This architecture was tested and validated end to end in Cisco's labs, which should enable Savvis to quickly bring this new service to market as a complementary offering to the currently available Savvis Symphony Open and Savvis Symphony Dedicated cloud services within the Savvis Symphony product line.
