Imation Releases Its New Swivel Pro Flash Drive

Enhanced Design Simplifies User Experience

Imation unleashes its new Swivel Pro Flash Drive featuring Imation's unique ''never lose'' swivel cap design, a 50 percent increase in read speed, and a quick release lanyard. The company announced it is shipping the next generation of its popular USB 2.0 Swivel Flash Drive, the Imation Swivel Pro Flash Drive, with enhancements designed to make transporting and sharing large files to and from work, home or school even easier than before.

The new Imation Swivel Pro features the unique "never lose" swivel cap design that made the drive a hit with users, and also includes enhanced features, such as:
  • An improved "one step" swivel cap feature that easily swivels and snaps into place
  • A 50 percent increase in read speed, capable of reading files at 12MB per second
  • A prominent blue LED light that demonstrates data transfer and connectivity from multiple angles
  • An asymmetrical shape that allows users to effortlessly identify the top of the drive to make connection to the USB port even simpler
  • A quick-release lanyard that offers convenience for users to easily carry the drive around their neck and swiftly "unleash" the drive to share and transfer files
"We listened to our business and consumer customers and refined the unique design of the Imation USB 2.0 Swivel Flash Drive to make it even easier for users to embrace the digital lifestyle," said Tom Lally, executive director of sales and marketing, Consumer and Office Markets, Imation. "The polished styling of the Imation Swivel Pro offers users the look, feel and performance they need to quickly and easily share and transfer their work and personal documents."

About the size of a AA-battery and weighing less than one-half ounce, the Imation Swivel Pro Flash Drive can be carried effortlessly in a pocket, briefcase or around the user's neck via the supplied quick release lanyard. To use, simply plug the drive into a USB port of any computer, and "drag and drop" digital files, including documents, music, presentations, photos, videos and more from desktop to flash drive, or vice versa, in seconds.
