Unitrends, a provider of integrated and scalable backup solutions, today announced that its successful partnership with nexusSTOR has created a strong competitive advantage for the reseller.
Kyle King, owner of nexusSTOR, extensively examined the other competitors Exagrid, Overland Storage and FalconStor to find “they are typically 30 percent more expensive and still have to rely on third party backup software.”
“Deduplication has evolved beyond the ‘one trick pony’ stage; the smartest VARs and buyers have realized that they need affordable all-in-one backup appliances that can be deployed quickly and monitored and managed simply,” Mark Campbell, Chief Operating Officer, said. “Of course Unitrends offers deduplication; but more importantly we offer a family of integrated appliances that support backup, archiving, and disaster recovery starting as low as $2495 which are scalable enough to be deployed into 100TB+ environments.”
As a result in nexusSTOR’s commitment to selling Unitrends all-in-one backup appliance with the lowest TCO in the industry, the reseller has seen a considerable increase in clientele opportunities for his business.
“Customers want ‘one throat to choke’ if there is a problem,” said King. “Unitrends provides a solution in one appliance that, for other vendors, would require several products to accomplish; it saves my customers significant money.”
King found Unitrends to not only be a reliable, cost-effective tool that suits customers’ needs, but a backup provider that also excels over competitors with its knowledgeable support team. “They know backup and recovery cold, and they are very eager to support me and help me close sales,” King said.
Mike Coney, Chief Executive Officer, Unitrends said “We’re absolutely committed to helping our resellers dominate their markets, and we’ve assembled a 100% reseller-focused, go-to-market strategy and a world-class team to make that happen.”
