JDA^® Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS), The Supply Chain Company^®, today announced that four individuals from within the JDA customer base have been elected to executive leadership positions within the JDA Users Group. The election took place at JDA’s annual global conference FOCUS 2012, with new officers announced during the General Session.

Incumbent president George Frongillo, director replenishment systems & integration, Staples, was re-elected as Users Group President. Greg Gries, Perdue Farms and Suzanne Toepfer, Chico’s FAS, Inc., have been elected as Users Group Vice Presidents, and Lesley Klinger, The Hershey Company, was elected as Users Group Administrative Director.

JDA Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide an environment where members can share ideas on product direction and enhancements with JDA Product Management. SIGs are typically organized around JDA solutions with each SIG managed by a customer-elected chairperson, as well as a JDA associate who serves as SIG manager. The Users Group officers are responsible for managing the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and ensuring their voice is heard by JDA Product Management. Officers meet each month to discuss and update SIG goals as well as discuss how to increase registration and SIG participation. Officers also meet quarterly with SIG Chairs and SIG Managers to review goals and network in order to gain the most value from their JDA investment.
