CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it is forming a technology association with Ping Identity to jointly offer cloud single sign-on (SSO) and federated identity management (FIM) solutions and services to both the public and private sectors worldwide. This collaboration capitalizes on the companies’ combined experience and provides a proven approach to meeting internal and external federation needs in a secure, compliant and cost-effective manner.
"By joining forces with Ping Identity, CSC will offer customers a reliable, scalable, economical and easy-to-deploy federation tool that provides enhanced privacy,” said Samuel S. Visner, vice president and lead cyber executive, CSC.
Under the agreement, CSC will offer Cloud SSO and FIM solutions powered by PingFederate® that meet requirements for implementing identity strategies for cross-domain single sign-on. The joint solution offerings will include partner-to-partner federations; CSC client-to-partner federations; PingFederate® Cloud SSO; user attribute sharing for X.509 (PKI) authentication; and 7x24 cloud SSO and federation support services.
CSC and Ping Identity’s joint services and solutions will provide customers with enhanced privacy by reducing the propagation of personally-identifiable information, reduced operational costs associated with managing external user identities and improved security and compliance management by providing secure system access control.
