Ideas International Limited (IDEAS)(ASX:IDE) has released an update to the Server Performance Trend, which predicts that server performance will double from today’s levels during the second half of 2013.

The Server Performance Trend is powered by RPE2, the atomic unit of compute, and provides a “whole market” view of how server performance is trending.

According to Gary Burgess, senior vice president at IDEAS, “Our analysis shows that over the past five years, long-term server performance has been improving at a steady and predictable rate.

“Projecting this trend into the future, IDEAS believes that server performance will double from today’s levels in six to seven quarters, or sometime in the second half of 2013,” Mr. Burgess added.
