GLASTONBURY, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 05/11/12 -- Raditaz, pioneering the future of Internet radio, today upgraded its service, with emphasis on the overall user experience. The company also announced a partnership with LyricFind to display song lyrics and other artist information to Raditaz users. Raditaz also introduced several specific new features including song search, artist bios, and an improved web listening experience.
"We're thrilled to announce this platform upgrade, as it delivers a dramatic improvement for our users," said Tom Brophy, founder and CEO, Raditaz. "By partnering with innovative music companies like The Echo Nest, and now LyricFind, we continue to improve upon our own user experience, and bring better music discovery and a more robust service to our users."
Raditaz is driving a better Internet radio experience, with access to more music and a better discovery engine than its competition. Raditaz listeners can discover new music via tags, genres, by searching top hits, top stations, or top songs trending in specific geographical areas. LyricFind will now provide Raditaz listeners with access to song lyrics. Raditaz has also added artist bios to the web product.
Raditaz' redesign makes finding and streaming music easier and faster, with a cleaner, better design and layout on the web. Raditaz is planning to launch an improved iOS and Android UI in the near future. With the new design, users have access to new and improved functionality and player controls, and quicker access to a wide range of stations, including trending stations and the music map feature. A major rebuild to the Android Player is in process and will greatly improve Raditaz' music streaming capability.
Raditaz is on the web and can also be downloaded from the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store. For more information, and to start listening, visit http://raditaz.com.
