Dell Boomi, the world’s largest integration cloud, today announced it has been selected as the “Best Web Services Solution” in the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) 27th Annual CODiE Awards. This is the first year the company has received a CODiE award for “Best Web Services Solution,” which recognizes excellence in the business software, digital content and education technology industries.
A three-time previous CODiE Award winner, Boomi was recognized this year for the continued success and growth of its multi-tenant cloud integration platform, Dell Boomi AtomSphere®, and its innovation in Web services. AtomSphere is delivered as a service, which makes it simple for customers of any size to use and helps them avoid the burden of installing and maintaining integration software or appliances. It also offers customers frequent software updates to keep up with the fast pace of innovation in SaaS and cloud applications.
"The 27th annual CODiE Awards honor the companies that drive innovation and success with technology products and services across a broad array of industries,” noted SIIA President Ken Wasch. "The winners are a proud testament to the power of technology to deliver innovative solutions to businesses and consumers. SIIA warmly congratulates Dell Boomi and all of the winners and nominees of the CODiE Awards, whose innovation is essential for continuing America’s leadership in the global knowledge economy.”
The CODiEs were established in 1986 to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement and philanthropic efforts. The winners of the 2012 CODiE Awards in 28 business software categories were chosen after intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep experience in the field. Winners were announced at a special CODiE Awards presentation held in conjunction with the 7th annual All About the Cloud conference in San Francisco on May 10.
"We are thrilled to be recognized with this prestigious award for “Best Web Services Solution,” said Rick Nucci, GM of Dell Boomi. "Knowing that the CODiEs are the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program, receiving an honor is a testament to the crucial role Web services play in enterprises of all sizes, reinforcing the value of Dell Boomi’s pure cloud platform. We thank our industry peers for this honor, as well as our great customers and partners for their continued support."
