TOLLAND, CT--(Marketwire - November 19, 2012) - OpenSky Corporation, an IT consulting firm with industry-leading expertise in Infrastructure; IT Risk Management and Security; Governance, Risk and Compliance; and Technical Business Consulting, today announced that Mark Shirman, CEO and President of RiverMeadow Software and Founder and former CEO of GlassHouse Technologies, has been appointed to the company's board of directors.
Mr. Shirman currently serves as CEO and President of RiverMeadow Software, a company that provides software solutions for cloud onboarding. Prior to his tenure at RiverMeadow, he founded GlassHouse Technologies. Mr. Shirman created the vision for the company's solutions development, built a global organization focused on data center consulting and managed services, and interfaced with the investment community. He was CEO of GlassHouse for eleven years, during which the company was listed on the Inc. 500/5000 Fastest Growing companies in 2011 with three-year growth of 62%, generated revenue of almost $99 Million, and grew to 533 employees.

Mr. Shirman was Founder and CEO of Innovative Information Systems Inc. (IISI), focused on emerging technologies and application development, prior to its purchase by CDI. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. after receiving his BA in Economics from Brandeis University and his MBA from American University.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mobiquity Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Mount Wachusett Community College and is a director for Baby's Breath, a non-profit organization focused on connecting infants with loving homes and families.
