The chipset is already also used in four OEM platforms shortlisted in various categories for the Carrier Ethernet APAC 2012 awards.

Featuring Vitesse’s IEEE1588v2 LTE-Advanced-ready VeriTime technology, the chipset consists of SynchroPHY™ 1 Gigabit Ethernet (GE), 10GE and 10GE OTN PHYs and Carrier Ethernet Switch Engines. It was also recently recognized in the “Best Chipset/Processor” category at the LTE North America 2012 Awards and used in three OEM finalist platforms at that event.

The winners will be announced during the Carrier Ethernet APAC 2012 event at an evening reception taking place on December 4, 2012 at the Mira Hotel in Hong Kong. The Carrier Ethernet APAC 2012 awards recognize excellence and leadership in the development, marketing and delivery of Carrier Ethernet services, as well as the achievements of solutions providers in the Carrier Ethernet market.
