Apica, a leading load testing and performance monitoring provider for cloud and mobile applications, today announced that it has climbed more than 100 spots on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2012 to #283. Apica’s ascent on this list, which ranks the 500 fastest growing technology companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), is fueled by the company’s 531 percent revenue growth over the past five years.
“The cloud services industry is growing at a rapid rate and businesses and developers alike are seeking solutions to optimize their cloud and mobile applications,” said Sven Hammar, CEO of Apica. “Our accelerated position among the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is a testament to our company’s growth, strong partnership network, and ability to provide solutions that meet the performance and testing demands of this industry. Application monitoring and the ability to detect performance problems will continue to be a challenge for IT organizations in the coming year, which is why we will continue to expand our business and deliver the technology that will help organizations optimize performance and improve user experience.”
This is the second year in a row that Apica has made the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking. In 2011, Apica ranked 395th.
“Making the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking is a testament to a company’s commitment to technology,” said David Halstead, Deloitte United Kingdom and partner in charge of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA programme. “With its 531 percent growth rate over five years, Apica has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to grow in difficult conditions.”
Apica’s solutions have been designed specifically for a cloud infrastructure and include Apica LoadTest, Apica WebPerformance, Apica ProxySniffer, and Apica InSite. These SaaS applications can improve page load times, offer protection from peak load, and test applications for maximum capacity and daily performance. The company currently partners with over 30 industry leaders, including Rackspace, Amazon, Microsoft, AppDynamics, RightScale, and more.
