DALLAS, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Agero Connected Services has been selected by Acura to provide the core services to Acura's new cloud-based connected car system AcuraLink.^® Agero's system, which includes providing mobile apps and embedded architecture, debuts in spring 2013 on the all-new 2014 Acura RLX luxury sedan.

AcuraLink, a fully connected multi-modal application suite, provides drivers with enhanced convenience, infotainment, safety and security to drivers through Agero's customizable mobility platform, delivering the benefits of embedded in-vehicle technology and personalized content via cloud-enabled connectivity with the car. 

AcuraLink users can now simply and conveniently interact with their connected car. Features like virtual dashboard enable Acura owners to monitor vehicle maintenance and performance remotely. Another feature allows owners to send destination information seamlessly from their phone to the RLX's navigation screen. AcuraLink incorporates a host of additional utilities allowing secure access to the vehicle's systems, including remote door and alarm system management.
