This agreement will ensure Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ Business – Endpoint Protection is deployed across up to 10,000 customer endpoints. Conventional antivirus solutions are not designed to counter the high rate of infections and breaches businesses continue to experience, requiring a new approach to detect and prevent malware across multiple domains, customers and offices from centralized remote consoles and locations in "single pane of glass" views. By partnering with Webroot, Anittel can now leverage the unique architecture, speed and flexibility of Webroot Endpoint Protection to more efficiently address potential breaches and infections as well as offering a more seamless managed antivirus experience to its customers. The solution will also simplify many of Anittel's existing processes and reduce the burden of IT administration on its staff and its clients.
The cloud-based Webroot SecureAnywhere Business – Endpoint Protection provides the most advanced real-time protection available against both known and unknown malware. Unlike traditional security solutions, Webroot SecureAnywhere installs in seconds, scans in less than two minutes, and never requires security updates or signature database downloads which consume network bandwidth and leave users exposed. Webroot's unique client and cloud architecture allows customers to quickly gather critical collective endpoint data and provide real-time intelligence to protect against ever-evolving threats.
"After an extensive review of the majority of anti-malware products available on the market, Anittel chose Webroot for its revolutionary 'no definition' update model, its small install and scanning footprint and its excellent detection and remediation abilities," commented Rob Pickering, National Engineering Manager at Anittel. "We expect that the deployment of this will save significant amounts of our staff's time and lead our customers to have a much better managed antivirus experience than our previous solution."
"Through expanded integration with leading remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms and strong commitment to our global Webroot Channel Program, we're very excited to be working with Anittel under this new agreement," said Jeff Santelices, vice president of Webroot Worldwide Demand Fulfillment. "The superior benefits of Webroot SecureAnywhere Business – Endpoint Protection will be extended to thousands of customers, and help differentiate and grow Anittel's service capabilities."
