EVault, une société Seagate, annonce un partenariat avec Fujitsu

EVault, Inc, une société Seagate (NASDAQ : STX), a annoncé aujourd'hui un partenariat avec Fujitsu. Le partenariat stratégique permet à Fujitsu d'élargir et de renforcer son portefeuille de sauvegarde et restauration en commercialisant une gamme complète de services hybrides dématérialisés qui permettent aux clients de tirer efficacement parti de la sauvegarde dématérialisée.

Aujourd'hui, les organisations doivent gérer des exigences changeantes et complexes de sauvegarde et de récupération des données. Elles recherchent de plus en plus des solutions offrant une meilleure flexibilité quant à l'emplacement et au stockage des données. Combinant la technologie Fujitsu avec le logiciel EVault, les solutions hybrides dématérialisées de sauvegarde de Fujitsu offriront de nouveaux niveaux de choix aux entreprises qui cherchent une méthode de sauvegarde fiable et souple, qui permette de déployer de multiples plateformes traditionnelles et dématérialisées en fonction de l'évolution des besoins commerciaux et de la réglementation.

Au cours des prochains mois, Fujitsu va lancer une gamme de services basés sur la technologie EVault qui permet aux organisations d'adopter une stratégie de sauvegarde hybride dématérialisée. En gérant leurs données sur site de manière dématérialisée et traditionnelle, elles pourront répondre aux exigences spécifiques qu'elles doivent respecter en termes de résidence, conformité et protection des données. Les clients seront en mesure de stocker et de récupérer leurs données en provenance aussi bien des périphériques clients que des serveurs, bases de données et systèmes entiers. Ils pourront aussi définir où et comment stocker leurs données.

Pour aider à la sauvegarde et à la restauration rapides d'importants volumes de données, Fujitsu offrira des services permettant de stocker les données sur un dispositif sur site qui effectuera une sauvegarde complète initiale avant le transfert vers un centre de données Fujitsu. Les sauvegardes suivantes seront effectuées sur le réseau. Enfin, l'ampleur du nuage Fujitsu permettra à l'entreprise d'offrir un service de récupération en cas de catastrophe en option à ses clients.
