EVault, een Seagate onderneming, kondigt een partnerschap met Fujitsu aan

EVault, Inc., een Seagate onderneming (NASDAQ: STX), kondigde vandaag een partnerschap aan met Fujitsu. De strategische partnerschap stelt Fujitsu in staat om zijn back-up en herstel portefeuille uit te breiden en te verbeteren door een serie uitgebreide hybride clouddiensten op de markt te brengen die klanten in staat stellen om effectief van cloud back-up gebruik te maken.

Organisaties hebben tegenwoordig te maken met veranderende en gecompliceerde vereisten voor back-up en herstel en zijn in toenemende mate op zoek naar oplossingen gegevenslocatie en -opslag flexibeler maken. De hybride cloud back-up oplossingen van Fujitsu, die de technologie van Fujitsu met de EVault software combineert, bieden meer keuze voor bedrijven die een betrouwbare, flexibele back-up methode zoeken die veranderende zakelijke en regelgevende vereisten toestaat en meerdere traditionele en cloud-gebaseerde platforms.

In de komende maanden zal Fujitsu een reeks diensten introduceren die gebaseerd zijn op de EVault-technologie die organisaties in staat stelt een hybride cloud back-up strategie om te zetten, met de mogelijkheid om cloudgebaseerde en traditionele locatie-gebaseerde gegevens te beheren en aan de specifieke vereisten voor locatie, naleving en bescherming van de gegevens te voldoen. Klanten kunnen hun gegevens op zowel hun eigen apparaten als op servers, databases en hele systemen opslaan en opvragen, en hebben de flexibiliteit om te bepalen waar en hoe ze hun gegevens opslaan.

Om te helpen bij de back-up en het herstel van grote hoeveelheden gegevens, biedt Fujitsu diensten die het mogelijk maken om gegevens op te slaan op een apparaat op locatie om de initiële complete back-up vast te leggen vóór transport naar een Fujitsu datacenter – waarbij de volgende back-ups plaatsvinden over het netwerk. Tenslotte zal de omvang van Fujitsu Cloud het bedrijf in staat stellen om een optionele rampenhersteldienst aan zijn klanten te bieden.
