SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 12/20/12 -- TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) today announced four large TASER® electronic control device (ECD) orders for more than 1,121 TASER® X2™ ECDs in the fourth quarter of 2012.

TASER received and anticipates shipping the following orders for TASER ECDs and various related accessories in the fourth quarter:

• Tempe Police Department (AZ) for 350 X2s
• Cleveland Police Department (OH) for 300 X2s
• Fort Worth Police Department (TX) 251 X2s
• Cobb County Police Department (GA) for 120 X2s
• Baton Rouge Police Department (LA) for 100 X2s
