Gemalto (Euronext NL 0000400653 GTO), der Weltmarktführer in digitaler
Sicherheit, gab heute seine Zusammenarbeit mit Yokosuka Telecom Research
Park, Inc. (YRP), FUJITSU TEN, einem führenden Entwickler hochmoderner
Sicherheitssysteme, und ERTICO bekannt. Die Unternehmen richten das
erste eCall-Testcenter Japans ein, um globalen Automobilherstellern bei
der Erfüllung der neuen Notrufsystemnormen der Europäischen Union (EU)
zu helfen. Gemalto wird dazu seine branchenführenden Cinterion® M2M-Automobilmodule
(Machine-to-Machine) und MIMs (Machine Identification Modules)
liefern, welche die Kommunikation und GPS-Ortung in allen Testszenarien
möglich machen. In dieser ersten eCall-Anlage außerhalb Europas können
japanische Automobilhersteller ihre für den EU-Markt bestimmten Lösungen
im eigenen Land testen.
Der europaweite eCall-Dienst auf der Grundlage der Notrufnummer 112 ist
darauf ausgelegt, die Reaktionszeit von Rettungsdiensten zu
beschleunigen. Als ein interoperables M2M-System versetzt er Fahrzeuge
(und deren Insassen) in die Lage, bei einem Verkehrsunfall automatisch
Hilfe anzufordern. Der Prüfstand von FUJITSU TEN und YRP ist mit
IVS-Einheiten (In Vehicle System) ausgestattet, welche die
eCall-konforme Gemalto-Technologie nutzen. Diese hat sich bereits in
Europa bewährt und in europäischen Testanwendungen als standardkonform
erwiesen. Sobald Airbags oder andere Fahrzeugsensoren ausgelöst werden,
stellt ein Kfz-MIM von Gemalto sofort eine sichere Netzverbindung her
und ein Cinterion-M2M-Fahrzeugmodul setzt einen standardisierten
Sprachanruf an die nächstgelegene Notrufzentrale über die Rufnummer 112
ab. Das System übermittelt der Notrufzentrale automatisch wichtige
Lageinformationen, unter anderem präzise Angaben zum Unfallort, einen
Zeitstempel und die Fahrzeugidentifizierungsnummer (VIN), damit deren
Personal die notwendigen Maßnahmen in Echtzeit einleitet. Gegebenenfalls
kann das System auch manuell von einem Insassen aktiviert werden. Dieses
Testcenter gestaltet die Erprobungsverfahren deutlich einfacher. Es ist
mit Japans einzigem exklusivem eCall-2G-Mobilfunknetz ausgestattet, das
die europäischen Mobilfunknetze simuliert.
