Qumu améliore les solutions de portail vidéo grâce à la recherche par mots

La plateforme vidéo Qumu permet à l’entreprise de gérer, d’organiser et de distribuer en toute sécurité la vidéo en direct et à la demande à chaque bureau et à chaque visionneuse mobile. Certains des points saillants des fonctionnalités de recherche par mots sont les suivants :

  • La recherche par mots indexe les sons présents dans toutes les vidéos et permet la recherche de n’importe quel mot ou de n’importe quelle expression
  • Un mot ou une expression prononcée peut être recherchée dans les vidéos individuelles
  • Des recherches peuvent être effectuées simultanément dans des vidéos multiples
  • Des règles de flux de travail d’approbation peuvent rechercher certains mots prononcés automatiquement
  • Des recherches multi-canaux dans le portail vidéo permettent la recherche simultanée de paroles et de textes

En fait, dans une nouvelle enquête Qumu réalisée auprès de la clientèle et dont les résultats sont annoncés aujourd’hui, 73,7 % des cadres disent que la majorité des connaissances de l’activité dont les employés ont besoin sur leur lieu de travail, sont communiquées oralement dans les réunions et en ligne, plutôt qu’écrites. L’enquête porte sur les opinions et le comportement des cadres d’entreprise et sur la façon dont ils organisent et recherchent les informations, notamment les avantages et l’utilisation de la recherche par mots dans les vidéos.
