Broadview Networks, a leading provider of hosted voice, data and cloud computing solutions, has joined with RCA, one of the most recognized names in the electronics industry, to roll out a new hosted communications service specifically designed for small and home-based businesses.
The RCA IP Phone Service is powered by Broadview Networks, an experienced and proven provider of award-winning cloud-based phone services. The new service was designed to provide small companies with next-generation phones and features to optimize their businesses’ performance. It is the first service from Broadview to be available in retail stores.
“Our bundle of IP phones and broadband phone service will afford small businesses a far more powerful way to communicate with their customers and coworkers while bringing real cost savings to the bottom line,” said President of Telefield North America, Dwight Sakuma, a licensor of the RCA brand. “Teaming up with Broadview Networks, a leading IP service provider, allows us to differentiate the RCA telephone, while making the whole process of getting up and running simple and easy. This provides our retail partners with a unique selling proposition.”
“With over 100,000 users of our cloud-based phone service, RCA IP Phone Service customers will benefit from Broadview’s expertise in designing and operating enterprise-grade, but easy-to-use, phone systems and service,” said Broadview Networks’ President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael K. The system is also completely customizable and scalable for companies with multiple offices and changing business needs. By moving all the features of the phone system to the RCA-hosted service, companies can easily set up remote locations and offer direct-extension dialing to an employee’s home office.
Activating the RCA Broadband phone service is easy – simply plug the phone into the Internet and visit rca4business.com to sign up. Included in the monthly service are numerous features, including a digital receptionist, customizable voicemail, voicemail delivery over e-mail, music on hold, call transfer and caller ID with name. Users can make changes to their system preferences via an intuitive self-management website, and features like cell phone twinning ensure that employees will never miss a call.
“This new service gives small businesses the features needed to meet their business objectives,” said Broadview’s Chief Operating Officer, Brian Crotty. “With cutting-edge features like web-enabled voicemail, as well as traditional ones like call transfer and music on hold, employees and their managers will have new tools to manage their business and connect with customers. Broadview is proud to provide large business features not traditionally available to small businesses at an affordable cost. In addition to all the benefits, IoT is also bringing new kind of customer experience challenges - cars that unlock themselves, thermostats turning houses into saunas and baby video monitors broadcasting over the internet. This list can only increase because while IoT services should be intuitive and simple to use, the delivery ecosystem is a myriad of potential problems as IoT explodes complexity. So finding a performance issue is like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack.
