Samsung Electronics America Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd and number one worldwide brand of professional commercial displays,* today announced three new lines of monitors designed to serve virtually any business need. Featuring the latest in LED technology, the new SC200, SC450 and SC650 Series monitors offer a better viewing experience and more functionality, while reducing the total cost of ownership, making them ideal for business users of any size and budget.
“With more than five years of global market share leadership, Samsung continues to offer businesses one of the widest selections of display technology available today,” said Tod Pike, senior vice president at Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division. “We’re committed to providing products that enable businesses to work effectively with our commercial monitors for any use case and market, from desktop publishing to education. Our new lineup offers a host of unique benefits, yet remains easy for any business to deploy, use and manage.”
The new lineup features a range of display products that deliver a perfect balance between an excellent user experience and lower cost of ownership. The image quality, coupled with Samsung’s legacy of success in the display industry, make the SC200, SC450 and SC650 Series ideal options for IT decision makers in technology departments in businesses of all sizes and vertical markets.
Efficient and Ergonomic Design
Samsung’s slim-profile styling and comfortable user ergonomics make the SC200, SC450 and SC650 Series essential computing companions for the workplace. The smaller base footprint and slim designs maximize desk space with a minimalist appearance.
The new thin-bezel designs make the SC200, SC450, and SC650 Series monitors simple and easy to install in a multiple monitor arrangement, increasing the users’ screen real estate for maximum productivity. Ergonomic stands in all the models tilt for comfortable viewing in a variety of applications, while the SC450 and SC650 Series also include a fully height adjustable stand with swivel and rotate features for increased flexibility.
Improved Energy Efficiency, Lower Cost of Ownership
Samsung reduces the financial burden on IT decision makers looking to overhaul technology departments. Innovative features like the ultra-low standby energy consumption of 0.1 watts, compared to industry typical of 0.5 watts, ensure lower energy footprint over the life of the product, even when the monitor is not in use. With LED backlight technology, the SC200, SC450 and SC650 Series use 30 to 50 percent less power than conventional CCFL monitors, plus the ECO features further reduce energy use by an additional 20 to 50 percent.
Samsung business monitors also hold most several major certifications, including Energy Star, EPEAT and TCO. Together, these features help reduce overhead costs, increase productivity and provide innovative solutions to keep businesses on the cutting edge. Plus, all Samsung commercial desktop monitors come with a full 3 years parts, labor, and backlight warranty.
SC200 Series
Suitable for small and medium sized businesses, the SC200 Series offers an affordable option for users in need of a capable and highly cost effective display solution. With Samsung’s thin bezel design, matte display and cable management features, the 200 Series clears the clutter from a workspace and allows users to focus on the task at hand.

The height-adjustable stand and pivot feature allows users to quickly and easily position the display to suit their desired viewing height and angle.
