HERNDON, Va., Jan. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroPact, a leader in the development of case management and business process management (BPM) software, is excited to announce that their workforce expanded by 38 percent in 2012. The onboarding of more than 50 new employees is a direct result of the continued success of their flagship case management software, entellitrak, and the recent introduction of their document management platform, entellidoc, primarily in the public sector. To accommodate their rapidly growing team, MicroPact is looking to expand into a second floor of the building they currently occupy in their Herndon, VA location by the end of January 2013. The new space will feature several conference rooms, collaboration areas and individual hot-desk areas.

To further accommodate an increase in their workforce, MicroPact recently implemented a telework program and issued iPads to all personnel as a part of standard team member equipment, enabling remote and teleworking team members to be more connected. The new technology will help employees be more flexible, efficient and mobile within the workplace. This includes the capability to leverage MicroPact's new Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and existing MicroPact network, as well as participate in video conferencing.
"We attribute our success, particularly in the government sector, to not raising our prices during a tough economic year in 2012," said Kris Collo, President, CEO and Founder at MicroPact. "We were able to remain competitive in a down market because we have the ability to help agencies replace their legacy infrastructure with systems that are leaner, more flexible and substantially less expensive to maintain."
In 2012, MicroPact received 72 project awards across 38 agencies, growing their federal sales by 28 percent. Continued sales strength in the public sector also facilitated the rapid expansion of the company's offerings into the healthcare market, which saw a six-fold increase in sales revenue, as well as the commercial market, which saw unprecedented growth from 2011 to 2012.
Expansion for MicroPact will continue in 2013, beginning with a projected 20 new hires in Q1. The organization also intends to extend its presence in the federal government space while building on the momentum of its expansion initiatives in the public and private healthcare arenas.
