Inventages annonce sa collaboration avec SAP en vue du développement d'une nouvelle génération d'entreprises de médecine personnalisée

Inventages (un fonds d'investissement mondial dans le domaine de la santé soutenu par Nestlé) a annoncé aujourd'hui sa collaboration avec SAP AG en vue d'intégrer une approche globale de la gestion des maladies, basée sur les mécanismes, dans les cadres informatiques de pointe, en vue de développer la prochaine génération d'entreprises de médecine personnalisée.

La médecine personnalisée utilise des informations génétiques et non génétiques, telles que les facteurs environnementaux, pour personnaliser la prévention, le diagnostic et le traitement des maladies. Jusqu'ici, cependant, ces solutions étaient souvent fragmentées et incomplètes, ne portant que sur un sous-ensemble de facteurs influents. Les solutions de médecine personnalisée de demain seront holistiques ; intégrant les informations génomiques d'un patient, ses antécédents médicaux et des facteurs environnementaux et liés à son mode de vie. Cette approche plus globale de la gestion des maladies nécessitera l'intégration de plusieurs sources de données, ainsi que la structuration et l'analyse de volumes de données importants. Cette capacité sera essentielle pour assurer le succès et la longévité d'une solution de médecine personnalisée.

Cette collaboration entre un fonds d'investissement mondial dans le domaine de la santé et une des plus grandes sociétés informatiques mondiales permettra aux entreprises émergentes de ce secteur de disposer à la fois de capitaux et d'une expertise et de ressources importantes.
