Swivel Secure erweitert Produktflexibilität zum Nutzen von Kunden und Vertriebspartnern

Swivel Secure, der weltweit führende Anbieter von Technologien zur tokenlosen Authentifizierung, hat heute zahlreiche betriebliche Änderungen angekündigt, die sowohl den Kunden als auch den Vertriebspartnern höhere Flexibilität gewährleisten werden.

Flexible Preismodelle für Vertriebspartner

Damit die stetig wachsende Nachfrage nach Lösungen zur tokenlosen Authentifizierung im Rahmen eines umfassenden Kundenservices befriedigt werden kann, hat Swivel heute ein neues, kurzfristiges und bedarfsabhängiges Preissystem vorgestellt, das den Vertriebspartnern von nun an für diesen Markt zur Verfügung steht. Die Nachfrage nach höherer Flexibilität bei der Preisgestaltung wurde durch den Erfolg der Microsoft Office 365-Umgebung forciert, für die Swivel der einzige lizenzierte Anbieter im Bereich der tokenlosen Authentifizierung ist.

Die Vertrags- und Zahlungsbedingungen werden ab jetzt in einem Modell mit individuellen Dienstleistungen festgelegt. Die Vertriebspartner von Swivel können die Authentifizierungsplattform in ihre eigenen Dienste integrieren, ohne das Risiko von traditionellen Rahmenverträgen mit jährlicher Laufzeit eingehen zu müssen. Damit werden die Vertriebspartner in die Lage versetzt, kurzfristige Verträge mit monatlicher Zahlungsweise anzubieten und damit die Flexibilität an die Kunden weiterzugeben.

Durch die Flexibilität der monatlichen Abrechnung können die Endanwender den langfristigen Einsatz der Swivel-Plattform besser an ihre Anforderungen anpassen – von nun an lassen sich beliebige Kombinationen der Technologien verwenden, um den Sicherheits- und Compliance-Erfordernissen gerecht zu werden. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Herstellern von tokenlosen Authentifizierungslösungen, die starre Servicemodelle anbieten, stattet Swivel Organisationen mit der Flexibilität aus, eine sichere Verbindungsmethode ihrer Wahl zu nutzen – Web, VPN, Cloud oder Desktop. Darüber hinaus besteht die freie Wahl aus Kommunikationswerkzeugen, um diesen Prozess zu managen: über eine mobile App, SMS, Telefon oder das Internet. Diese Freiheit löst unzählige Authentifizierungsprobleme, mit denen Organisationen bei der Herausforderung, ihre Sicherheitsrichtlinien ständig aktuell zu halten, konfrontiert sind. Ab jetzt verursacht der stetig wachsende Bedarf an neuen Geräten und Anwendungen, die an das Unternehmensnetzwerk angeschlossen werden müssen, keine Probleme mehr.

Die Swivel-Authentifizierungsplattform: kürzerer Markteinführungszyklus

Swivel hat seine Verfahren der Plattformenwicklung und -einführung verbessert und setzt jetzt auf ein flexibles Prinzip, das die Einführungszeit zwischen zwei Versionen auf nur sechs bis acht Wochen verkürzt. Dieses Verfahren wird die Aktualisierung auf die neueste Version vereinfachen und den Kunden verbesserte Plattformfunktionen schneller zur Verfügung stellen.

Anstatt alle sechs bis neun Monate eine umfassende Aktualisierung durchzuführen, wird der kürzere Einführungszyklus den Kunden von Swivel schnelleren Zugang zu neuen Funktionen und weiteren Verbesserungen umgehend nach ihrer Entwicklung ermöglichen.

Im Rahmen dieser Änderungen wird mit dem Update auf Version 3.9.2 die Speicherung der Konfigurationsdaten auf dem Swivel-Server optimiert. Ab der neuen Version ist ausgeschlossen, dass bei Installation einer neuen Softwareversion die bestehende Konfiguration überschrieben wird – stattdessen wird die Konfiguration automatisch ausgelesen und aktualisiert. Diese bedeutende Neuerung senkt den Zeitaufwand, Ressourceneinsatz und das Risiko bei der Plattformaktualisierung enorm.

Heutzutage wird sie von führenden globalen Unternehmen, Behörden, dem US-amerikanischen Gesundheitsdienst NHS und Hunderten kleinerer Unternehmen aus über 35 Ländern genutzt. Mit der Plattform kann der Fernzugriff auf das Unternehmensnetzwerk, virtuelle Desktops und Cloud-basierte Anwendungen erfolgen. Laut einer Studie von Gartner, dem führenden Analysten der IT-Branche, bietet Swivel bei den Anwenderoptionen die meisten Funktionen.
