For more than 25 years, Ransome has been known for innovation in the information management industry. He will be responsible for leading Westbrook's sales and marketing teams, continuing to develop relationships with the company's technology and channel partners, and strengthening its industry position.

He co-founded and was CMO of Active Data Services, a business processing outsourcing firm. Earlier, he served as president of the e-business division at Lason, where he was responsible for product development and channel strategy.
