Duracell Powermat verleiht drahtlosem Strom beispiellose Intelligenz und Kraft

Infolge seines Versprechens, die drahtlose Stromübertragung zu einer intelligenten Technologie zu machen, präsentiert Duracell Powermat jetzt drahtlose Übertragungsoberflächen, die als „Maschennetz" funktionieren, so dass drahtlose Ladestationen in aller Welt zentral überwacht und gemanagt werden können.  

Diese neue Netztopographie ist ideal für den Einsatz an öffentlichen Standorten wie Cafés, Flughäfen und Stadien, so dass der Standort jede drahtlose Ladestation über ein zentralisiertes, in der Cloud gehostetes System überwachen, nachrüsten und strategisch verwalten kann. „Letztendlich kann damit jeder Standort Updates und Instruktionen in Echtzeit an jede Ladestation senden und auch empfangen", sagte Daniel Schreiber, Präsident von Powermat Technologies, dem Hersteller der Technologie für drahtlose Stromübertragung, die die Basis für alle Duracell Powermat-Produkte bildet. „Dies verwandelt die drahtlose Stromübertragung in öffentlichen Bereichen mit ihren unzusammenhängenden, einzelnen Oberflächen in ein intelligentes globales Netz." 

Diese Entwicklung von einem analogen Verbraucherprodukt zu einer digitalen Unternehmensplattform eröffnet neue Szenarien für die Nutzung und neue Geschäftsmodelle, wie etwa:

Die zweite Funktionalität, die am Stand von Duracell Powermat beim Mobile World Congress 2013 präsentiert wird, ist die „Kraft" der drahtlosen Stromversorgung: Drahtlose Ladestationen, die sich so regulieren, dass sie Smartphones, Tablets und sogar Ultrabooks mit Strom versorgen können. Die neuen drahtlosen Ladestationen liefern zwischen 5 und 50 Watt und verwenden denselben Formfaktor wie die vielen tausend Ladestationen, die in öffentlichen Bereichen bereits in Betrieb sind. Damit wird eine universelle Kompatibilität gewährleistet, und das Laden von Geräten mit unterschiedlicher Leistung erreicht einen Wirkungsgrad von bis zu 93 %.
