Perforce intègre Dropbox à Commons™ pour une collaboration documentaire d’excellence

Perforce Software améliore sa puissante solution de gestion de versions de documents pour tirer profit des capacités de partage des documents de premier plan de Dropbox

ALAMEDA, Californie (le 15 janvier 2014) - Perforce Software a annoncé aujourd'hui l'intégration de Dropbox, un outil de partage de fichiers de premier plan, à sa plate-forme de collaboration documentaire, Perforce Commons™. Les clients de Perforce qui utilisent Commons pour stocker et gérer les versions de leurs documents peuvent désormais télécharger leurs fichiers directement dans Dropbox, qui synchronise le contenu sur tous les dispositifs associés au compte d'un client. L'association de ces deux technologies permet aux utilisateurs de partager des fichiers via Dropbox, tout en utilisant les solides capacités de collaboration et de contrôle de versions de Commons.

Basé sur le moteur de gestion de versions utilisé par les sociétés les plus innovantes au monde, Commons met la solution de gestion de versions pour entreprises de Perforce à la portée d'un collaborateur moins technique, qui peut maintenant gérer ses documents et autres fichiers au sein du même référentiel partagé que les développeurs utilisent pour stocker leurs codes et les artistes pour stocker leurs œuvres graphiques.
