ZXTM improves the performance, capacity and security of hosted services, reducing downtime and facilitating routine maintenance. As a software application, it can be deployed on the very same compute fabric that is used for the applications it is managing.
Combining ZXTM’s open and flexible software architecture with Egenera PAN Manager software makes it possible to build a fully responsive and agile Service Oriented Infrastructure (SOI). Together, these best-in-class solutions unlock dramatic improvements in business agility and reduce operational costs by simplifying the deployment and management of the SOA applications that provide today’s business-critical services.
“The Service Oriented Infrastructure enabled by Egenera and Zeus breaks away from the one-server, one-application model imposed by legacy vendors that has led to unmanageable complexity,” said Kathy Yenke, vice president of business alliances, Egenera. “With business agility a key concern of enterprise CIOs, the seamless integration between ZXTM and Egenera PAN Manager software simplifies datacenter infrastructure to deliver on the promise of SOA.”
“The challenges facing IT management today are growing, and more and more companies are looking to virtualization as the answer to getting increased performance from their datacenter infrastructure,” said Paul Di Leo, CEO at Zeus. “Egenera and Zeus are well positioned to offer the market a superior solution for business-critical applications, making them faster, more secure and easier to manage.”
