Project Insight Showcases Cloud Project Management Software at Microsoft TechEd

Project management software provider Project Insight will highlight its integration capability with Microsoft products - MS Project, Excel, Outlook, Office, SharePoint, TFS, Dynamics GP, SOL, NAV and other solutions. Project Insight, along with other Microsoft customers and partners, will exhibit in Booth 1948 at Microsoft’s TechEd being held this week in Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center.

Project Insight’s project and portfolio management software helps small to medium sized organizations (1-1000 team members) to:

  • Centralize projects
  • Balance resources
  • Collaborate on project assets
  • Enter time/expenses
  • Track budgets and view real-time reports

Project Insight is used by IT, professional services, product development and advertising teams worldwide. Project Insight (PI) is best deployed where either high-end project and portfolio management systems are too complex, or low end tools are too basic.

“Our project management solution is tightly integrated with the Microsoft product suite," stated Cynthia West, vice president of Project Insight. “Microsoft developers may use the software development kit (SDK) and Web APIs, along with Project Insight as a platform to develop customizations for vertical applications, making Project Insight the most flexible, customizable, integrate-able solution in the price range.”

Project Insight’s Microsoft Standards

For organizations that standardize on Microsoft Office software and systems, Project Insight offers a Microsoft .NET based solution that has been platform certified by Microsoft. Project Insight’s collaborative project management software is part of the Microsoft certified independent software vendor (ISV) program. Metafuse, the developers of Project Insight, is a Microsoft Gold Partner and Developer, ensuring that the software was developed with the latest industry standards.

Cell networks have the advantage of long-range communications, reaching an estimated 90% of the world. But cell networks such as 2G, 3G and LTE consume lots of power and were designed for connecting people. They are not optimized for low- or battery-powered devices or for IoT applications with infrequently transmitted data. Cell IoT modules that support narrow-band IoT and 4G cell networks will enable cell connectivity, device management, and app enablement for low-power wide-area network IoT. B...
