The Mobile Commerce News Weekly is an online newsletter made up of the most interesting news, articles and links related to mobile commerce and marketing, mobile payments, mobile money, e-wallets, mobile banking, mobile ads and mobile security that I run across each week.  I am specifically targeting market size and market trend information.

Commerce transactions in the U.S. completed on mobile phones and tablets are expected to total $114 billion in 2014, research firm Forrester is forecasting. Two-thirds of those sales, or about $76 billion, will happen via tablet computers, while the remainder will occur on phones.  Read Original Content

Smartphone-generated retail revenue jumped 115.9 percent year-over-year in April, according to Branding Brand's Mobile Commerce Index. Publicis Groupe and Facebook have signed a multi-year partnership deal worth around $500m (£297m).  The $500 million figure, first reported by Ad Age, includes ad spend and will give favorable rates on Facebook inventory to Publicis’ agencies.  Read Original Content

Amazon has launched a new initiative alongside Twitter this week. The two companies have come together to make mobile shopping a little easier for consumers.
