SuperBeam App Reaches 214 Million File Transfers

LiveQoS' First Mobile Application for Consumers Enables Secure File Transferring Through WiFi Direct Technology

OTTAWA, ON -- (Marketwired) -- 09/02/14 -- Last month, LiveQoS®, the market leader in Quality of Experience (QoE) for mobile devices, smartphones, tablets, and PCs, announced its transformative file sharing platform, LiveShare. As the company's first mobile platform for consumers, LiveShare enables the transfer of documents, photos, videos, and other files via the SuperBeam app. SuperBeam transfers files between two devices without the need for a traditional WiFi connection. Since its launch, SuperBeam, has transferred more than 214,724,000 files and has repeatedly earned a spot in Google Play's weekly top 10 apps list with more than 3.4 million downloads.

"This is the first time LiveQoS has made its technology available direct to consumers, and they are fully embracing LiveShare, which incorporates the SuperBeam app as well as fast file transfer for enterprises," said Martin Horne, LiveQoS CEO. "Since the SuperBeam application utilizes WiFi direct technology, it does not rely on data service or mobile connectivity to transfer files. Engineers, realtors, architects, or any consumer that is on-the-go can benefit from the reliability and convenience of SuperBeam, no matter where they are in the world."

The LiveShare platform leverages a LiveQoS technology that enables fast file transfers over any network architecture. LiveShare does this by mitigating the effects of latency, congestion, access technology and packet loss, resulting in blazingly fast file transfers. Private and Public clouds, enterprise data centers, branch offices and teleworkers can all benefit from the technology. LiveQoS is working with OEM's to both enable the OEM offerings and to private label the LiveShare capabilities.

"Whether you are a remote employee transferring large files with colleagues while on a plane or a musician uploading videos to share with fans, our platform simplifies the process of moving files -- quickly and securely," said Horne. "SuperBeam has global appeal with users throughout the world."

The SuperBeam app is currently available for Android, Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. The iOS version is soon to follow. To learn more about the LiveShare platform, please visit http://liveqos.com. To download the SuperBeam app, please visit http://go.liveqos.com/SuperBeam.
