Dimension Data déploie des services managés standardisés à l'échelle internationale pour les centres de données

Dimension Data, fournisseur de solutions et services TIC d'une valeur de 6 milliards de dollars US, a annoncé aujourd'hui le déploiement actuel des services managés standardisés à l'échelle internationale pour les centres de données. Basé sur la plate-forme de pointe d'automatisation des services managés du groupe, l’offre intègre la gestion des serveurs, du stockage et des réseaux pour les centres de données sur site, dans le Cloud et hybrides.

Plus tôt cette année, Dimension Data avait annoncé qu'elle quadruplerait la taille de son activité des centres de données pour atteindre 4 milliards de dollars US d'ici à 2018. Le lancement de cette série de services managés est la prochaine étape d'un ensemble d'initiatives stratégiques visant à étendre les capacités du groupe pour soutenir continuellement les besoins en transformation des centres de données de ses clients nationaux et multinationaux.

Steve Joubert, le directeur exécutif de Dimension Data pour les centres de données, déclare : « Nous observons un changement où nos clients qui possèdent et gèrent leur propre centre de données se tournent vers l'externalisation de l'infrastructure complète ou de la gestion de l'environnement. Avec l'avènement du Cloud, Technology Business Research Inc.* a récemment indiqué que 70 % des adeptes du Cloud privé feront appel à des tiers pour gérer leurs environnements.
