REO SERIES Disk-Based Appliances Time Navigator and REO SERIES help network managers take full advantage of the speed and reliability of disk-to-disk-to-tape backup. Atempo, a leader in data protection for information lifecycle management (ILM), today announced that Atempo's Time Navigator(TM) data protection software has been certified for use with the full line of REO disk-to-disk backup and recovery appliances from Overland Storage.
Atempo's Time Navigator data protection software and Overland's REO SERIES provides fast restores for heterogeneous storage environments. The joint solution offers a comprehensive set of features that address today's complex challenges including disaster recovery, compliance, security and rapid data growth. The REO SERIES allows users to achieve the near-instant data recovery of disk. The REO SERIES in conjunction with a tape library delivers long-term archival benefits of tape, for a complete disk-to-disk-to-tape solution.
