ANTs Compatibility Server Virtualization Database Successfully Demonstrates Sybase-to-Oracle Migration for "Fortune 10" Customer

Customer Requests Proposal to Move Other Applications

ANTs software inc. announced that it has successfully demonstrated for a customer, an application being re-hosted from Sybase to the Oracle database using the ANTs Compatibility Server. The customer, a global manufacturing and financial conglomerate ranked in the top 10 of Fortune magazine’s 2007 list of the largest companies, subsequently asked for a proposal to move numerous other applications from Sybase to Oracle. ANTs Software is in the process of scoping that work.

“The ANTs Compatibility Server, for the first time, brings the promise of a fast, cost-effective method for customers to move applications from one database to another – and enables enterprises to achieve cost efficiencies by consolidating their applications onto fewer databases,” said Joseph Kozak, chairman and chief executive officer of ANTs Software. “I believe this request for proposal is an endorsement of our product and the need for it.”
