BDNA has announced that Walker White, vice president of technology, will be among the presenters at SYS-CON’s Virtualization Conference & Expo 2008 West, held Nov. 19-21, 2008, in San Jose, Calif. Mr. White will be presenting his session on the strategy and practice of virtualization, “Leveraging Virtualization Efficiency While Diminishing Virtual Sprawl.” Other companies featuring presenters include Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon.com, Cisco Systems, Symantec, Intel, Salesforce.com, Yahoo! and more.

BDNA's technology, BDNA Insight, combines agentless, high-speed, and detailed inventory of all software and product assets with corporate ownership information and a product catalog containing more than 100,000 records of public market data. Within days, customers gain the most comprehensive and accurate view of their IT inventory. BDNA launched the next-generation of its core solution, BDNA Insight 5.0, this summer.

Walker White is VP of technology at BDNA. He is responsible for providing guidance to customers on utilizing BDNA's solutions to improve efficiency in their IT environment and for ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into our products. Prior to his arrival at BDNA, White was a 12-year veteran of Oracle Corporation. During his tenure at Oracle, he held positions as Vice President of Applications Technology, Chief Technologist of Oracle Service Industries, Product Line Manager for Hewlett-Packard and other technical management positions. White was a regular speaker at many commercial, government and educational information technology forums. White is a graduate of University of California, San Diego, with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.
