RingCube Technologies Inc. announced its latest version of
software optimized for USB Flash Drives.
The latest MojoPac allows users to carry everything that is
personal from their PC on a durable, flash drive while experiencing the faster
speed and experience previously limited to USB hard drives. MojoPac optimized
for flash drives works three times faster than previous versions, allowing
users to transform any PC into their personalized desktop simply by plugging in
their MojoPac-powered USB memory stick.
"As families reunite around the holidays, MojoPac
provides a unique way for parents to allow their children and houseguests to
use the family PC," said Pete Foley, CEO of RingCube Technologies.
"Parents can give their children their own personal MojoPac on a stick,
and relax, knowing that anything the kids do on MojoPac will stay on the
MojoPac, leaving the family PC clean and pristine."
The updated MojoPac includes an automated, built-in utility
to test the performance of USB flash drives before installing MojoPac. The
easy-to-read performance meter provides a green/yellow/red color-coded output,
indicating whether the drive will deliver the necessary performance to ensure a
quality user experience when running desktop applications. Since most flash
drives are designed for the copy and storage of data rather than the more
demanding task of running applications, this release of MojoPac helps customers
experience enhanced application performance comparable to launching an
application on your host device.
With hundreds of thousands of downloads of its free MojoPac
Freedom software, RingCube is changing the PC experience for consumers
worldwide. Because everything the MojoPac user does stays within MojoPac, the
virtualization software also ensures the host PC is not affected by anything
the user does. Once the USB drive with MojoPac is turned off and unplugged, all
traces from that user's experience are removed with the device.
