Raxco Software announced the release of the PerfectDisk 2008
for VMware ESX Bundle. The PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware ESX Bundle is a turnkey
solution that combines the power of PerfectDisk 2008 Server and the PerfectDisk
2008 Command Center to help VMware ESX Server users
automatically boost their server and virtual guest machines’ performance on
Windows-based virtual machines.
With
the PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware ESX Bundle, organizations can manage all their
ESX Server virtual machines’ defragmentation needs from a single console.
Alerts and warnings for fragmentation levels across the ESX environment can be
set to ensure maximum performance. Improved network performance over the VMware
network is achieved, and reports are available to ensure performance is optimal
across the ESX environment. The PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware Bundle comes preconfigured
with recommended settings for the ESX environment, minimizing setup time.
Licensing is per ESX host machine, keeping cost minimal and easy to manage.
“The PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware ESX Bundle is a natural
follow-up to our PerfectDisk 2008 for VMware offering, which optimizes VMware
Workstation and VMware Server environments,” said Joe Abusamra, vice president
of operations at Raxco Software. “As our partnership with VMware and reach into
the VMware user community grow, the demand for performance and optimization
solutions that meet all VMware users’ needs is also climbing, and we are
meeting that demand.”
